Check out this great video Did you know we have a dog club? This clip features our recent get together at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Up until this night, these dogs had never been around each other and yet look how great they did! We had a fun time visiting one another while showing off our dogs' skills. We do a variety of other events too, such as restaurant socials, hiking trips, agility training, picnics, and other such things.

Here at Rocky Top K9 we are firm believers of "Train as you fight" mentality. Meaning if your going to train you need to do it with as much distraction as possible. This leaves the dog with no doubt about the commands. Little Harley has went from fear aggression and avoidance to being strong and confident.
Positive reinforcement is a great way to teach your dogs to overcome fears. This is 7 month old Meeko learning to overcome her fears of ground textures and learning trust at the same time.
Remember Mary who had dog aggression along with food aggression? See when your dog understands its place in your pack and you as the leader enforce those rules harmony will be the result. Remember all the love in the world will never make a dog obedient.
